Industrial Visit to Grand Hyatt Bolgatty Palace, Cochin

The objective of the visit was to gain a detailed understanding of the operational aspects of a hotel, with special reference to the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Concierge, Laundry, and other allied departments.

After a brief orientation session conducted by the Training Department, the students were taken on a familiarization tour, during which the functions and responsibilities of each department were explained in detail.

An interactive session with the hotel personnel further helped the students to understand the practical aspects of hotel operations and clarified their queries regarding departmental coordination and management.
